Adam Sullivan has been living and working in the Eighth Congressional District of New York for the last eleven years. He is a theatre artist who has directed and produced theater and radio drama and taught theater arts to students of all ages. Adam hails originally from Hartford, Connecticut and received his B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University in 1991. He grew up in a politically active household. In his youth he worked on the landmark mayoral campaign of Thirman Milner, Hartford’s (and New England’s) first African-American mayor, and marched on Washington alongside veteran peace and justice advocates including Jesse Jackson and Pete Seeger. He returned to activism after the 2000 election fiasco and the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
